Description
SenovaCare is an On-Site Health Care dedicated to delivering exceptional dental and oral health services to residents in Senior and Long-Term Care Facilities. As a Dental Hygienist with our growing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the oral health and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
-Perform professional dental cleanings, take and develop x-rays and review them as required.
-Remove plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
-Apply fluorides to help prevent tooth decay
-Use a range of different dental instruments and ensure that all instruments are sterilized and clean at the end of each session
-Follow Health and Safety guidelines in all aspects
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings
- Must have ability to work independently and must possess a valid driver's license
Requirements
-Must be willing to travel The states of Iowa and NE - Areas Included are Sioux City IA and Omaha/Lincoln NE
-Full time 36 hours per week 4 RDH traveling days and 1 half Admin Day
- Minimum 21 years old
- Must have current/valid license as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Iowa and Nebraska
- 3 years' experience is required
- CPR certification or obtain CPR certification within 90 days of employment
- Knowledge of standard dental safety procedures
- Ability to maintain medical records accurately.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
-Good organizational skills with an eye to detail
-Must be willing to travel 4 days a week and be able to lift up to 40 pounds of equipment
-Must have basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as well as excellent clerical skills
- 36 hours per week
