Description

Rewarding opportunity with well-established DME/Respiratory home care provider on Martha's Vineyard Island, Massachusetts. This 40-hour position will directly participate in and provide oversight for all Respiratory Care. This includes CPAP, BiPap, oxygen therapy and medication nebulizers. Our company provides equipment with care to two Hospice agencies as well.

Our goal is to provide services that enable safe, timely and successful transition of the patient from an inpatient facility to home.

Requirements

The position encompasses order information intake and referrals, data input and monitoring of efficacy and compliance. Frequent collaboration with staff, physicians, nurses, other health care providers and family members is also part of the workday. The position is held in high regard by our island community.

This position will allow the right person to expand their scope of practice while helping others and experience an active community on a beautiful island.

Registered Respiratory Therapist with comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in Respiratory Care, especially with a homecare focus.

Ability to engage knowledge and experience with the individual needs of the patient
Direct interaction with patients who may have multiple healthcare requirements.
Familiarity with PAP device instruction and data monitoring.
Instruction and teaching in the home and our office for all oxygen and PAP devices. 
Occasional setup and instruction of DME equipment and supplies.
Skillful collaboration with staff members, health care providers, and family members.
Eagerness to learn the required operational software, policies and procedures.
