Full Spectrum Training Program in Coastal California
The Family Medicine Residency Program at the Ventura County Medical Center (VCMC) is seeking a Family Medicine core faculty member to join our dedicated team.

Position Overview
Primary Care Teaching
Establish a primary care practice
Precept residents in continuity clinic and urgent care
Further the clinic’s quality improvement efforts
Serve as a faculty advisor to residents
Teaching, evaluation, and curriculum development.
Optional Clinical Areas (Based on candidate interest)
Inpatient Medicine: Teach on the resident hospitalist service
Obstetrics: Shared call in the continuity clinic’s OB practice
Palliative Care: Provide patient care and teaching on the Palliative Care team.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
California Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)
ABFM board certification
Teaching experience with residents or medical students
Excellent clinical skills, including procedures
Commitment to working with marginalized communities
Spanish language skills
Compensation and Benefits
